The Look and Feel of Real Wood

WITHOUT THE EXPENSE!

Timeless elegance meets modern durability. Faux Wood Shutters (also known as Composite or Poly Shutters) offer the natural beauty of traditional wood but with the added benefits of rugged engineering. Designed to resist warping, cracking, and fading, they are the perfect solution for North Jersey homes, handling everything from humid summers to dry winter heat with ease.

100% Waterproof Unlike genuine wood, our premium Faux Wood Shutters are made from durable synthetic materials that are impervious to moisture. This makes them the definitive choice for high-humidity areas like kitchens and bathrooms. You can enjoy the style of plantation shutters without worrying about water damage.

Energy Efficient & Low Maintenance Beyond their good looks, the solid composite construction provides excellent insulation, helping to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures and lower energy bills. Plus, they are effortless to clean—just a quick wipe keeps them looking brand new. Schedule your free in-home consultation to see our customized colors and finishes.

FAQ

Do they look like plastic?

Not at all. Our Composite Shutters are engineered with a solid core and finished with a UV-resistant coating that mimics the look and feel of painted wood. Most people cannot tell the difference between our composite shutters and real wood once they are installed.

Are they heavy?
  • Yes, composite material is denser and heavier than natural wood. For this reason, there are limits to how wide a single panel can be before it sags. If you have very large or wide windows that require oversized panels, we recommend checking out our Wood Shutters for a lighter-weight solution.

Can I get them in a wood stain color?

Generally, no. Composite shutters are typically available in various shades of white and off-white. Because the material is synthetic, it does not absorb stain like natural grain. If you are looking for a rich Oak, Cherry, or Walnut finish, Wood Shutters are the correct choice.
